Tia Flores

Tia is a thoughtful communicator and skilled storyteller. As an Account Coordinator, Tia provides public relations, marketing, and digital communications support to clients across various industries. She is passionate about helping organizations amplify their impact through clear and creative communication.

She was born and raised in Seattle, where a lifelong love of reading and storytelling led her to join her high school newspaper and pursue a career in communications. She began her undergraduate studies at the University of Washington before relocating to Hawaiʻi with her family, where she earned her B.A. in Communication and a Certificate in Sustainability from the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa.

During her time at UH Mānoa, Tia gained hands-on experience across public relations, digital media, journalism, and marketing — serving as an Editor at Ka Leo O Hawaiʻi and an Events Intern at Big Brothers Big Sisters Hawaiʻi, among other roles. Through her involvement with the UH Mānoa PRSSA chapter, she advanced from member to Director of Professional Development and launched the chapter’s first PR Pals mentorship program. After joining Becker as an intern her senior year, she transitioned to a full-time role upon graduation and is now a member of the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) Hawaiʻi chapter.

In her free time, she enjoys reading, cooking, baking, spending time outdoors, and exploring Oʻahu’s diverse culinary scenes.
