Allison Valdez is a strategic communicator and media relations specialist with more than a decade of experience spanning broadcast journalism, corporate communications, and nonprofit advocacy.

Born and raised in Miami Beach, Florida, Allison found her forever home in Hawai‘i, drawn to its deep cultural values and stunning landscapes. A summa cum laude graduate of the University of Florida’s College of Journalism and Communications, she worked in radio and television news in both Florida and Hawai‘i before shifting into strategic communications and public relations.

Most recently, at Protect & Preserve Hawai‘i, Allison led media outreach and messaging strategies to raise awareness about the urgency of environmental conservation. She enjoys crafting compelling stories, securing media coverage, and helping mission-driven organizations connect with their audiences. She is inspired by the power of storytelling to help others live fully, love deeply, learn continuously, and leave a meaningful legacy — a passion that drives her approach to communications.
